FINE PICKELHAUBE AND CUIRASSE. The front piece on the helmet has a crowned eagle carrying a sword in one claw and a scepter in the other with a banner across the center “MIT GOTT FUR KOENIG UND VATER LAND”. The spike is on a black painted brass base with raised bosses around the bottom. The rosettes and chin strap are missing. The bill and neck flap are unsewn. The liner is missing. The breastplate has lamellar strapping with dbl buckles and appears to be Prussian. The bosses are missing from the left. CONDITION: Lining is in place but badly torn. Outside has been cleaned and varnished. 4-58417 FS748 (1,000-2,000)
