CARVED FOLK ART WOOD PLAQUE OF BROOK TROUT. This nice early 20th C. carved plaque originally done by Sirois of Biddeford, Maine that depicts a fat three or four pound Eastern brook trout. The fish and the plaque appear to never have been painted, but finished in the au natural. Sirois was a folk art carver working from Biddeford, Maine that worked in the first half of the 20th C. SIZE: 30-1/2” long x 10” tall. CONDITION: A small fin, near gill is missing, otherwise generally good condition with old patina. 4-60244 (750-1,250)
