LIONEL STANDARD GAUGE #408E W/ ORIGINAL BOXES. The engine has 2 motors, working pantographs, all original flags, stanchions, black frame, apple green body with a very bright finish and a nice patina on roofs. Accompanied by Observation car #490, Parlor car #418, Parlor Combination car #419, and Dining car #431. All cars have 6-wheel trucks and paper stickers on bottom., dark red trim in windows, maroon doors. This set has all original boxes, including box for engine (all boxes basically sound with one flap on one box is missing, some re-taping. If one were to own just one train, this would be the train to own. CONDITION: Overall appearance of train is very good to excellent with normal wear, some wheels replaced. Slight scratches and rub mark along edge of roof. Paint on all 4 cars are very nice with strong lettering. EC 1-4357 (3,500-5,000).
