LOT OF FIVE BOWIE KNIVES. (1) Large reproduction with 12″ clip point blade, elliptical German silver hand guard & flat horn grips with an old Barber Head quarter in the left side. CONDITION: Extremely fine. (2) Reproduction Wilson Hawksworth Ellison Sheffield Bowie with 10-3/4″ curved clip point Bowie blade, etched on the side, “AMERICA THE LAND OF THE FREE AND HOME OF THE BRAVE”. It has German silver oval hand guard with 2-pc heavy stag grips. CONDITION: Extremely fine. (3) Unmarked reproduction with 11-1/4″ curved clip point blade, elliptical German silver hand guard, 1-pc smooth horn grip with repoussed silver ferrules. CONDITION: Extremely fine. (4) Unusual reproduction Bowie with 7-1/2″ very curved hook blade, marked “WILSON HAWKSWORTH ELLISON SHEFFIELD”. It has elliptical German silver hand guard with marbled horn grips and German silver handle. CONDITION: Extremely fine. (5) Authentic G. Wostenholm & Son small clip point Bowie with 7-1/8″ blade marked “IXL” on the left ricasso with light “S” shaped German silver hand guard with raebuck hoof handle that has a hallmarked silver ferrule and a German silver-plate on the hoof. CONDITION: Fine. Retains most orig polish with light surface spotting and a few pimples of light rust.
