SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE.

SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30 WCF (30-30). SN 112571. Standard grade rifle with 26″ rnd bbl, button magazine, Jack front sight with platinum line 3-leaf express rear sight. The wood is nicely figured American walnut, uncheckered with straight stock and crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains about 95% original blue with a scrape about mid-point and a couple of small chemical spots with some scratches toward the muzzle. Receiver retains about 70% strong bright original blue with the missing finish flaked to light patina and a small wear area at the top rear of the receiver. Lever retains 60-70% strong original case colors and the hammer about 90% dark colors. Buttplate has traces of case colors, mostly turned silver. Wood is sound with usual light handling and use marks and a series of small scrapes on the left side of the butt stock, otherwise retains about 70% original finish on the forearm and about 90% on the butt stock.
