*RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 94 TRAPPER CARBINE.

*RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 94 TRAPPER CARBINE. Cal. 30 WCF (30-30). SN 991114. Standard grade carbine with 15″ bbl, full magazine, square base front sight and carbine ladder rear sight. The receiver has a stud & ring in the left side and it has 7-7/8″ long gum wood forearm with straight grip stock and carbine buttplate. Accompanied by a BATF letter dated November 6, 1980 exempting this and several other identical carbines from the provisions of the National Firearms Act of 1936 and are now considered Curios & Relics. CONDITION: Fine, the metal retains a medium dark artificially aged patina with traces of original blue in sheltered areas. There appears to be vice marks about the chamber area and a file mark by the proof, otherwise the metal is smooth & clean. The buttstock has several small grain checks near the buttplate and a few light bruises, otherwise the wood is sound and retains most of an old restored finish.
