FRENCH FASHION DOLL. Gorgeous swivel neck fashion with a most sublime expression. Although shoulderplate is unmarked, it is believed to be Barrois. She has blue glass stationary eyes, pierced in ears, and braided human hair with cork pate. She is on a gusseted leather body (worn and patched in places) and wears a wonderful antique costume of a green, horizontally ribbed skirt and black velvet jacket, antique underclothes, antique black oilcloth shoes, and wide brimmed straw hat. SIZE: 17-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Old faint hairline running from base of neck socket behind right ear and small mold flaw under chin, otherwise a marvelous example. 1-8111 (2,000-3,000)
