#300 LIONEL 2 7/8 GAUGE OPEN SUMMER CAR WITH CONVERSE BODY. Circa 1903. Overall color on car is black cast iron frame, maroon side panels and dashboard at each end. The dashboard on each end says City Hall Park #175. There is a metal plate tacked to bottom of car that says Lionel Manufacturing Company New York. This is one of the most beautiful early trolleys. It has a wonderful Victorian flavor to it. SIZE: Approx. 16” l. and 8 3/4” h. CONDITION: It is a possibility that the lower portion of the roof has been either touched up or repainted, otherwise very good. EC 1-4347 (10,000-15,000)
