*SMITH & WESSON MODEL 66-1 PRESENTATION REVOLVER. Cal. 357 Mag. Stainless steel, 2-1/2” bbl with red ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight. Round butt with checkered, medallion walnut grips. Sideplate is inscribed “TIMOTHY BRAATEN/CHIEF/OF/POLICE/8/84-12-93”. Also on the sideplate is the seal of the city of Oak Ridge, TN. Presumably, Chief Braaten was the chief of police for Oak Ridge. Left side of the frame beneath the cylinder is inscribed in script “TIMOTHY BRAATEN”. SN 98K8506. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains most of its original finish to both metal and wood, appears unfired. 4-48200 JR295 (Anderson Collection) (400-700)
