*RARE PRE-WAR COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL SUPER 38 SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 38 Super. SN 18376. Produced in 1935, this pre-war government model has 5” bbl, all blue finish with full checkered walnut grips, fixed sights & one orig 2-tone magazine with usual markings on base plate. Slide is matching numbered under firing pin retainer. CONDITION: Appears to be & unfired. Pristine new, all matching, retaining about 99% brilliant orig charcoal blue with only faint sharp edge wear on muzzle & a small spot of discoloration on each side of slide. Grips are crisp & sharp with a few mashed diamonds on left side. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. 4-59497 (7,500-12,500)
