THOMPSON SUB-MACHINE GUN SCABBARD. Heavy brown leather scabbard for motorcycle mount of Thompson Sub-Machine Gun, 25 ¾” long x about 9 ¼” at widest point. The top right side is marked with a large “US” and smaller letters that appear to be “J.Q.M.D./1943/E.N.S.” The toe is square with reinforced wooden block and has a brass staple with strap. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Nicked and scratched, dark and stained on the right side with surface etching and crackling, especially near the top where there is a 1” crack. 4-51258 JR1 (150-250)
