WOUTER JANSSEN (Continental, 20th Century) WINTER CHORES. Fine oil on canvas winter scene shows a man in a one-horse drawn wagon coming towards viewer on a snow covered road. Several people are on snowy ground, one pulling a sled of six with a man beside and four other people are seen outside a house and what appears to be a frozen lake. Dark clouds in the sky with glimpses of blue. Signed lower right. Housed in a fine carved gilt wood modern frame with white linen liner. SIZE: 19-3/4″ X 27-1/2″.
