FRENCH MUSIC BOX BIRDCAGE WITH A SINGLE BIRD. The square-domed top, brass cage has a brass perch covered with ivy and one red and black feathered bird perched upon it. T he square wood base, marked “Made in France”, is decorated with flowers and encompasses a music box, which when activated articulates the bird’s beak, head and tail. The cage is mounted with a large brass ring. SIZE: 19-1/2” h x 9-1/2” square. CONDITION: Some chipping to the base, otherwise very good. 9-71073 (1,000-1,500)
