UNSIGNED (European, 19th Century) TWO OCCUPATIONAL GENRE SCENES. Oil on metal scenes show an arched front alcove with a craftsman at work. 1) A dentist is shown just after he has pulled a young boys tooth. He holds the tooth while the boys spits blood. 2) A man sharpens the quill of a pen with hour glass and paper below. Probably a lawyer. Both housed in period gesso decorated gilt frame which are as found with damages. SIZE: 10-1/4″ x 8-1/2″. CONDITION: Surface dirt, generally very good. 9-99823 (1,000-1,500)
