*COLT 1911, 1913 MANUFACTURED PISTOL. Cal. 45. SN 16769. This 1913 US Army gun is in good overall orig condition. Gun retains all of its orig parts, including the “H” marked bbl, proper safety, spring plungers, slide stop, magazine, etc for its SN range and production date. CONDITION: Frame retains approx. 30% of the orig finish (but is still very pleasing), with the primary wear being on the front and rear grip straps and also some fading on the left side of the frame where the “US PROPERTY” is. Remaining blue shows very good. Slide retains approx. 30-40% of the orig blue, more prominent on the front half than on the rear, showing just good honest wear with just a few nicks and scratches. “1911” patent date, rounded rear sight and circle around the horse add to the pleasing nature of this part of this pistol. Pistol is equipped with an orig keyhole magazine that shows excellent(+). 4-58174 (2,750-3,250)
