AMERICAN (19th Century) LION CALLIGRAPHY. Pen and ink lion has drawn head, mane and feet. Body, tail and legs are penmanship calligraphy. Well executed drawing shows lion standing. Housed in a modern gilt frame with gray matte and anti-glare glass. SIGHT SIZE: 18-1/2” x 25”. CONDITION: Horizontal tear 3-1/2” from top going almost the entire length of picture.
