C. KOHL (19th Century) FAMILY PORTRAIT. Unframed oil on canvas portrait of a four-member family including a husband, his wife, son and daughter. Each child sits on their parents lap at a table peeling oranges. Signed lower left “C. Kohl”. On reverse of stretcher there are three partial French labels. SIZE: 28-3/4″ X 36″. CONDITION: Unrestored with a 3″ tear, small hole and light chipping to left bottom corner. Otherwise good. 9-99208 (1,200-1,600)
