*COLT ALL BLUE MODEL 1911A1 SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 45 ACP. SN 729662. Beautiful transition 1911A1 with 5” bbl marked on lower left side “COLT 45 AUTO” with a “P” on left side of lug. Frame has “R.S.” inspector mark in a rectangle on left side along with a “P” below magazine release button. Slide is numbered to frame underneath firing pin retainer. It has full checkered wood grips & is accompanied by an all blue “R” code magazine. CONDITION: Extremely fine, all original. Slide retains about 98% strong bright orig factory blue with only sharp edge wear. Frame retains virtually all of its bright orig factory blue with two faint thin spots on front strap. Grips show very light wear with one or two chipped diamonds. Bbl retains about 90% orig blue with a strong frosty bore. Magazine is extremely fine with a few light scrapes. Mechanics are crisp. This is a rare, all original, very little used Colt. 4-60654 (4,000-6,000)
