RAYMOND JONSON (American, 1891-1982) “COMPOSITION”. Oil on board abstract scene with colorful overlaid rectangles in colors of yellow, rust, olive green, black and pea green. Signed in the center bottom “Jonson 65”. Housed in a carved wood decorative frame. The back has typed title with name. Also number mark “16C”. SIZE: 17-3/4″ x 22″. CONDITION: Good, slight warp to board with water stains on back. The olive green paint has a vertical texture, which we are unsure of. Needs cleaning. 9-28985 (2000-3000)
