*RARE COLT MODEL 1908 GENERAL OFFICER’S PISTOL. Cal. 380 ACP. SN 135446. Blued finish with 3-3/4” bbl, full-checkered walnut grips with silver medallions and 2-tone magazine, caliber marked on the base. It has “U.S. Property” on the right side of the frame. Accompanied by an original brown Rock Island general officer’s belt holster with brass rivets and a brass snap. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Retains 95-97% strong bright original blue with some rust pitting on the left side of the muzzle and a spot at the left rear edge of the frame with some nicks and rubs at the back edge of the slide. Grips are fine, show light wear with a bruise on the left side, magazine is fine. Good mechanics, brilliant shiny bore. Holster is fine. 4-53162 JR539 (1,500-2,500)
