*MOVIE USED SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1898 KRAG RIFLE. Cal. 30-40. SN 172407. Standard rifle with 30” bbl, standard sights with 1-pc stock and hand guard. The right side of the receiver is stamped “MGM” and the left side “60 K”. The bolt is apparently from an old parade rifle as it retains some nickel plating. CONDITION: About good. Metal retains a blue/brown patina with spots of heavy pitting by the bbl channel and on the front edge of the receiver. Stock has several grain checks through the wrist and a repaired toe, otherwise retains most of an old refinish. Strong bright bore, dark in the grooves. 4-52335 JR134 (400-700)
