*SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1898 KRAG RIFLE. Cal. 30-40. SN 118507. Standard rifle with 30″ round bbl, pedestal front sight, ski jump rear sight with short handguard and 1-piece walnut stock. It is accompanied by a reproduction military sling. CONDITION: Very fine, retains virtually all of its fine arsenal reworked finish to both metal & wood. The handguard has a hairline at the front edge, otherwise the wood is sound with a beautiful oil finish. The extractor retains most of its original niter blue. The sling is fine and supple.
