LOT OF 2 WINCHESTER LEE RIFLES. Cal. 236 Rem. Lee. 1) SN 4232. Standard Navy issue with 28” bbl, replaced front sight, otherwise standard features. The chamber has the USN and anchor markings along with serial number and inspector initials. CONDITION: Good. Metal retains a blue/brown patina overall. One replaced band screw; good wood with generous amounts of original finish; strong dark bore; may clean better. 2) SN 3977. Identical to above with original front sight and a repair through the wrist. CONDITION: Fair to good. Blue/brown patina on the metal. Cleaned receiver with light pitting; wood is dark and oil stained and battered. Ejector is missing and the bolt is not retained when opened. Strong worn bore. 4-52240 JR77 (800-1,500)
