*SCARCE FRENCH MODEL 1949 SNIPER RIFLE. Cal. 7.5 French. SN F36587. Semi-auto rifle with 22 3/4” bbl, military sights, detachable box magazine and concealed spike bayonet under the bbl. The bottom of the bbl is stamped with an import mark. It is accompanied by an original APX sniper scope with rubber eyecup and leather carrying case. It also has a leather sling. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Metal retains 95 – 96% original gray green Parkerizing. Scope retains 95 – 96% original black oxide finish. Rubber eyecup is supple and flexible. Wood is sound and retains most of its oil finish. . Case and sling are fine. Bright shiny bore, sharp optics. 4-52342 JR125 (800-1,500)
