ATTRIBUTED TO HIRAM POWERS (American, 1805-1873) CARVED MARBLE BUST OF A CLASSICAL FEMALE. Modeled with backswept hair tied unto a bun, head tilted slightly. SIZE: 22”h x 17”w. CONDITION: Missing a piece of hair at knot, approximately 1”x 2”, bust has a rough, weathered surface, but retains good color, overall very nice. 9-90176 MD (5,500-7,500)
