RARE HOLLIFIELD DOTTER RIFLE PRACTICE SET. Set consists of two 30 cal. brass rods for the very rare practice set with one rod, 26-1/2” long and the other 23” long, along with a target holder and one orig target. Accompanied by four of the extremely rare dotter cartridges and a brass stripper clip. It is all in an orig oak case with complete instruction sheet in lid and orig label on outside of lid. This rare practice system was available in a variety of rifle & hand gun calibers. Rods are very seldom encountered and few people have ever seen one of cartridges or target holder and even fewer have ever seen an orig box. CONDITION: Rods are a medium to dark patina and cartridges are an oxidized white patina, one of which has a cracked neck. Target holder is extremely fine. Oak box is sound with label on lid about 3/4 complete and is dark & oil stained. Instruction sheet inside lid is complete with soil on outer edge and has turned yellow A very rare set. 4-58763 JR439 (500-800)
