A.H. BINDEN (American, 19th century) TRANQUIL LANDSCAPE. Oil on canvas scene shows river with small rowboat tied to post on rock/sandy shore. Other side of river has pasture and trees with large hills in background. Signed lower left AH Binden possibly AH Birden. Housed in an antique gesso decorated frame. There is script writing on the back of the canvas which cannot be deciphered. SIZE: 12” x 20” CONDITION: There are three tears above hilltop 1”, 1/2”, 1/2”; otherwise good. 9-93449 (400-600)
