J. H. LORING (AMERICAN SCHOOL, LATE 19TH CENTURY) A DAYS HARVEST. Large oil on canvas mounted to Masonite scene shows a hay-laden wagon with two oxen heading to the barn after a long day of harvest. One drives the wagon and two men with rakes follow alongside. All seen in a panoramic landscape with fields, trees, mountains and colorful sunset sky. Signed lower right and dated “1880”.
