*INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER GAP LETTER RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. SN 5204456. 24” bbl. Rare variation of the IHC rifle with receivers being manufactured at Springfield Armory. Rifle has bbl date of “8-53” being manufactured by LMR, which is correct for rifle, with IHC op-rod and small parts with exception being rear sight assembly being Springfield (which could be correct because receivers were made at Springfield) and has WWII trigger housing assembly and front gas cylinder lock. Butt stock is a modern made reproduction. CONDITION: Receiver retains 85% finish with some touch-up. There is also a 1/2” wide nick present on front receiver ring. Bbl assembly retains virtually all of its finish with a bright shiny bore. Gas cylinder front sight assembly also retains virtually all of its orig finish with very minor scuffing. Hand guards appear to be orig and are in excellent condition. Buttstock is a reproduction, as previous stated, but in fine condition. Mechanics are fine. 4-58258 BK6 (800-1,200)
