*SCARCE BELGIAN MADE BROWNING GRADE-3 SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. SN 8T89696. Spectacular little rifle with 19-3/8″ tapered rnd bbl, brass bead front sight with a Browning scope rail, in place of the rear sight, which contains a small tube Browning 4X scope that is a factory installation. The receiver is French gray finished with large vignette of a setter and three pheasants in a woodland scene on the left side, a setter with three flushing mallards in a marsh and woodland scene on the right side and a spaniel holding a dead duck on the top, all surrounded with very well executed intertwined and interwoven foliate arabesque patterns with about 90% coverage. Both side vignettes are signed “R. Kowalski”. It has gold trigger. It is mounted with extremely beautiful center crotch cut sunburst flame grain walnut having a skip-line checkered beavertail forearm and flat bottom pistol grip stock with skip-line checkered wrist and grip and a serrated steel buttplate. Accompanied by an original round corner brown Browning case, originally fitted to accommodate the scope. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new, has been fired but very little. Retains virtually all of its original factory finish to both metal and wood with a very few, very scattered, very minor light handling & use marks. Crisp mechanics, bright shiny bore, sharp optics.
