*LOT OF THREE M1 GARANDS. Cal. 30. 1) Springfield. SN 3305625. This is a 100% correct November 1944 issue M1 Garand. Although some parts are earlier such as revision “6” op-rod and revision “12” trigger housing, I believe this gun to be 100% correct as to production and bin restocking. Reference WWII Garand, Duff. CONDITION: Excellent plus with typical light gray Parkerizing for the era. Wood is in excellent condition with a very prominent “SA” over “GAW” cartouche with crossed cannons and circle “P” proof. Hand guards are as new, both front & rear. Mechanics are excellent. Bore, although slightly dark, is excellent. 2) H&R. SN 5521829. 24” bbl. This is a good example of a DCM Sales rifle that got through the program virtually intact. Rifle is in near new condition as refinished with the engraving of “A4” over “4-65” in receiver leg. The only part that appears non-orig is a Springfield follower & front sight. All other parts, including wood, appear to be correct H&R. Also has correct sling. CONDITION: As described above, rifle shows virtually new condition with very good cartouche and rack number “987” painted on buttstock. Very, very minor dings on stock with even less in the hand guards. Mechanics are excellent. Bore shows very good but could use a slight cleaning. 3) Springfield. SN 2084041. 24” bbl. This example of a 1943 M1 Garand that saw some battle use and was rebuilt after the war and probably saw action in Korea as well. Stock is orig to receiver being McFarland cartouched. Other than that, rifle has been rebuilt with post-war parts. CONDITION: Receiver retains 98% re-Parkerizing with some pitting present underneath. Bbl is a 1951 replacement and bore shows as brand new. Op-rod, as well as small parts, are Korean War era replacements. All are in excellent shape. Rifle is mechanically fine. Has post-war sling. 4-58238 BK3 (3,000-5,000)
