14″ CYLINDER MUSIC BOX. With drum, six bells, castanets and 18 note organ. Bells are damascene with two butterflies, two birds and two dragonflies striking them. Drum is a little snare drum. Castanet is made of hardwood. Original tune card listing 8 tunes with corner damage. Case has inlaid borders and flowered scrollwork in lid and on front (approx. 3″ x 8″). SIZE: 12″ t x 25″ w x 15″ d. CONDITION: Mechanism is an older restoration, needs minor regulating and 18-note organ should be rebuilt. Case is solid, but has some lifting to inlay with some small pieces missing, and several old scratches to lid. 1-7551 EO (5,000-8,000)
