*UN-QUALITY M1 CARBINE. Cal. 30-M1. SN 4461236. Un-Quality Carbines were indeed very rare as they were made by Quality Hardware Corporation and the receivers were sub-contracted by Union Switch and Signal. This particular carbine is a restoration in progress with great potential to be a fine example. At this point it has an assortment of parts such and inland slide, an IBM bbl and front site assembly and a National Postal Meter trigger group. With time and parts this could be a very fine restoration. CONDITION: Receiver is in excellent condition though re-parkerized with reproduction rear site. Bbl is orig finish IBM though it has been re-crowned with an IBM front site missing the pin. Front bbl band is a reproduction but has an orig IBM swing swivel on it. Trigger group is re-parkerized to match receiver as is the slide assembly. Stock is a low wood inland in very good condition with just some slight dings on the rear comb. Front upper hand guard is a 4-rivet reproduction. 4-58355 BK16 (500-1,200)
