CARL BAUER (Austrian, 19th Century) COMING BACK FROM THE HUNT. Oil on canvas scene shows three hunters with white horse having large stag atop. Three dogs drink from water. One man in red vest with blue pants tying shoe with another hunter coming over crest of hill. All in a landscape scene with setting sun. Housed in a good period gesso decorated gilt frame. SIZE: 19-1/2” x 25”. CONDITION: Some inpainting. Very good. 9-97650 (1,500-2,500)
