KAMKINS BOY DOLL. A most popular doll from the early twentieth century Boardwalk of Atlantic City, these dolls were designed in the likeness of one’s own child. This young lad is wearing a cotton checked coat and matching shorts with a white blue stripe cotton shirt also wearing typical Kamkin black leather sandals with cream colored cotton socks. Clothing most likely original, he also features Tosca colored hair with blue eyes. Doll is marked on rear of head with patent date. SIZE: 18-1/2” CONDITION: Overall condition good-very good, some soiling to face and body. Hat is old but most likely a replacement. JL 1-6418 (900-1,100)
