COLT MODEL 1877 LIGHTNING DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Colt. SN 102260. Usual configuration with 4 1/2” bbl, half moon front sight, blue and case colored with birdhead ivory grips. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Little evidence of use, retaining 60-70% glossy bbl blue, about 80% glossy cylinder blue and about 98% trigger guard and backstrap glossy blue. Frame retains virtually all of its original bright case colors slightly faded on the top strap and recoil shields, brilliant on the sides. Hammer retains 75-80% niter blue on the back edge with bright polish on the left side and chemical spotting on the right side. Crisp mechanics and brilliant shiny bore. Grips are sound with a couple of age lines and a fine mellow color. 4-51366 JR19 (1,250-2,250)
