OUTSTANDING FIGURAL CARVED WOOD TOBACCONIST TRADE SIGN. The wrought iron bracket holds a 22” figure of a black boy wearing tobacco leaf red and green skirt. One hand is held up with the other resting on an orange and black barrel. Two 6-1/2” pendants hang underneath sign. SIZE: 24” h x 27” w (bracket). CONDITION: Some repaint, one hand missing two fingers and thumb, otherwise good. One end of rod is missing fastening loop. 9-26140 (2,000-4,000)
