Large oil on canvas New England scene shows a mother and daughter with milk pail next to five dairy cows which are lying next to and standing in the edge of a pond under a large tree with hill and mountain background under blue and white cloud sky. Signed lower left “Johann Culverhouse 1875”. Housed in an outstanding modern Hudson River style frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 24” x 40”.
