AMETHYST, ROCK CRYSTAL, DIAMOND AND EMERALD CENTERPIECE. Truly an outstanding piece of workmanship. The centerpiece compote is carved from amethyst and is mounted on each side with a rock crystal swan with nicely detailed feathers. The swan’s head is fashioned from yellow gold and encrusted with pavee set diamonds. The clear rock crystal stem is mounted with yellow gold flowers set with emerald leaves and diamond centers. All atop a carved amethyst melon ribbed foot. Small goblets are carved and mounted to match, but do not have swan’s heads. Goblets are hallmarked on bottom “750” as well as other hallmarks, which we can’t make out. SIZE: Centerpiece is 8-1/2” w x 6-1/2” t. Goblets are 4-1/2” t. CONDITION: One goblet appears to have been reglued, where stem meets bowl, otherwise very good. 5-71034 (30,000-40,000)
