RARE MT. WASHINGTON BURMESE HANDLESS BASKET DISH. The glass features regular decoration No. 6 white daisy. Matte finish. For similar example see page 192 of Mt. Washington & Pairpoint Glass by Kenneth Wilson. There is an applied Burmese decorated edge featuring a frosting like decoration of Burmese glass as well as floral decoration on the inside and out (rare). Exhibited in Masterpieces of Art Glass at the New Bedford Museum in 1987. SIZE: 6-1/4” l x 2-1/4” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 8-76168 (2,000-2,500)
