OUTSTANDING EARLY WINE COOLER BY TIFFANY & CO. The bottom marked “Tiffany & Co 920 English Sterling 925-1000 M 7047 550 Broadway”. The mark corresponding to 1854-1870. The “M” standing for Edward C. Moore. The round footed wine cooler has two cast lioness handles attached to shoulder with large grape clusters and leaves. A 1-1/2” band at shoulder of grapes and leaves, the base decorated with a beaded edge. The side engraved with a spread eagle and monogrammed “C”. Interior fitted for liner, which is not present. WEIGHT: 1686 grams, 54 tr. oz. SIZE: 10-3/4” to top of handles 8” dia, 10-1/2” dia. with handles. CONDITION: Very good. 9-73336 (4,000-6,000)
