MANHATTAN NAVY PERCUSSION REVOLVER. Cal. 36. NSN. Unusual Manhattan with 6-1/2″ oct bbl, German silver front sight, tapered rammer lever with Type IV 2-line bbl marking & 5-shot cylinder. It has brass grip frame & 1-pc walnut grips. It is completely without serial numbers. The only markings are on the bbl. The cylinder has the “1859” patent date. CONDITION: Very good. No orig finish remains being a medium gray/brown patina overall with good edges. Scattered light pitting on the bbl. One patch of heavy pitting on the frame. Missing the spring recoil shield. No silver-plating remains on the grip frame. Grips are fine and retain about 90% orig varnish. Timing needs attention, otherwise mechanics are fine. Strong bore with moderate pitting. 4-54255 JR388 (500-800)
