J. WOLSKI (Polish/German, 20th Century) WOLVES ATTACKING A TROIKA. Oil on board winter scene shows two men in a three-horse driven sleigh being attached by two wolves. One wolf is at front by horses, other has been shot by the man in the back of the sleigh who is holding a gun to his shoulder. All seen in a snow covered winter landscape. Signed lower left “J. Wolski”. Housed in a gesso decorated frame with artist name tag. We believe this to be Jan Wolski, 20th Century European artist. SIGHT SIZE: 7” x 12”. CONDITION: 5-71769 (1,000-2,000)
