19″, (49 CM), BRU J ne R 8. Lovely Bru Bébé with closed mouth, huge brown paperweight eyes, and feathered stenciled eyebrows. Multi-stroke painted upper and lower lashes, pierced ears, on her original fully-jointed wood and composition body. She wears her original white cotton and pink lace chemise and has been wonderfully re-costumed in a Bru style, pleated pink silk and green print two-piece dress, wears antique underwear and her original French leather shoes, impressed on the sole “Bru Jne Paris 8”. CONDITION: Small horizontal firing line below the nose, minor color loss on nose tip, painted over hairline crack on left front of head, slight color fading to majority of body parts. 1-7306 RS (2,000-3,000)
