*VERY EARLY COLT MODEL 1908 POCKET MODEL SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 25 ACP. SN 228. Usual configuration, blued finish with 2-1/8” bbl, case colored trigger, thumb safety and grip safety with Colt eye, rampant Colt checkered hard rubber grips. Accompanied by a rare black leatherette covered red velvet and satin lined hard box for this pistol. Inside the lid is the stylized “Colt” logo embossed in gold. CONDITION: Fine. Overall retains 92-94% strong bright original blue with a bare spot on the left side of the muzzle with very fine pitting. Otherwise it has light edge wear with faded case colors. Grips show light to moderate wear, mechanics are fine with bright shiny bore. Box has worn corners and chipped edges on the bottom with lightly soiled interior and a small tear in the hinged lining, otherwise is sound. 4-53038 JR667 (400-700)
