*SPRINGFIELD ARMORY MODEL 1903 MARK 1. Cal. 30. SN 1128632. This “10-19” Mark 1 is in very good condition. It retains pretty well all of its blue with some dents and dings to the stock. CONDITION: Receiver is in excellent condition retaining over 90% of what appears to be orig blue. Bolt retains approx. 85% orig blue as does the rear sight sleeve. Rear sight leaf assembly appears correct, although it does not have dished knobs. Bbl has approx. 70-75% of the orig blue and has a bright, shiny bore. Front band is a dull blue finish with approx. 85-90% of the blue remaining. Middle band has approx. 80% coverage but turning to patina. Trigger guard and floorplate appear to be replacements as they are parkerized dark-grey. Buttplate is plum-brown with numerous dings. Buttstock is in good condition with some wear to the finger grooves and numerous dents and dings, and the cartouche is visible, but not legible. Possibly has a 2nd arsenal stamp over it. Upper hand guard assembly is proper late war hump, but is in moderate condition with a lot of scarring. Rifle has a correct trigger and magazine cutoff assembly for a Pedersen device.
