*SEDGELY CUSTOM WINCHESTER HI-WALL TARGET RIFLE. SN DALLAS. Cal. 22 LR. 28″ heavy rnd bbl with Lyman 17A globe front sight, Sedgely 9″ matted rib for scope mounting at rear. Left side of bbl marked “RF SEDGELY INC. PHILA PA. USA” and “22 LR”. Standard hi-wall receiver engraved in flowing foliate scroll pattern. Tang-mounted Lyman 103 micrometer rear sight & equipped with sgl set trigger. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, checkered 15″ beavertail forend, checkered pistol grip with hard rubber grip cap, Winchester checkered steel butt plate & sling swivel mounts. Finger lever has been modified for the deep pistol grip. Accompanied by orig Sedgely Handbook no. 39 with information regarding these rifles. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains virtually all of its fine custom finish on both wood & metal. Wood is sound with a few light handling marks & some very light wear. Receiver was probably engraved before being modified at Sedgely, as engraving is somewhat thin. Mechanics are crisp, including set trigger, with nice shiny bore.
