ROCOCO CARVED QUARTER SAWN OAK SIDEBOARD BY HORNER. In two parts, the upper section with molded cornice above the convex frieze carved with scrolling vinery and cartouches supported by robed satyrs centering a rectangular beveled mirror plate within a molded frame, mounted to the lower case with rectangular molded top over three aligned drawers with carved shell handles amidst scrolling floral and foliate vinery above three aligned cupboard doors, the outermost with scrolled cartouches each centering a mystical face. Center door with carved gargoyle mask over a scrolled cartouches, all above a long drawer with carved dolphin head pulls. All flanked by carved maidens carrying satchels of fruit above a stepped molded plinth raised on large carved claw feet. SIZE: 62-1/2” overall h x 74” w x 25” overall d.
