PATENT MODEL: STEAM ENGINE BY F.A. CALVERT. Original patent tag #52,968, dated March 6, 1866. All red and black painted tin model of a large cylinder with piston, all on a block tin base. SIZE: 12″ l. x 5 1/4″ t. x 4″ d. CONDITION: Platform on which the cylinder rests is detached, as is one of the sides that the piston originates. Some surface rust, otherwise generally good. 1-1287 (300-500)
