GEORGE III INLAID MAHOGANY SIDE CABINET. Cross banded top having two inset Sheffield type wine coaster holders and conforming glass top over two frieze drawers with circular ring drop handles and a pair of cupboard doors below with two false drawers, which are hinged on the bottom and have a secret pin opening when door in opened. Interior fitted with one shelf and recessed bottom raised on shaped feet. Line inlaid panels to doors and decorative panels on drawer fronts. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection, Monmouth, Maine. (FW Woolworth Dept. Store family). SIZE: 34” h x 37” w x 21” d. CONDITION: Door handle unattached but present. Some small veneer pieces missing. Otherwise very good. 9-99202 (800-1,200)
